The Weaver Academy Guitar Program offers a focused study in Classical Guitar and encourages students to work on learning a variety of musical styles. Students attend guitar class every day to learn to play as solo performers and in ensembles. They develop skills that will get them ready for college and professional careers.

  • Weaver Guitar Students have opportunities to take master classes with professional guitarists from around the world.
  • Many of our students have received scholarships to continue their musical education at universities across America.

The Guitar Program at Weaver Academy, though small in size, is one of the most unique high school programs in the country. At this public performing and visual arts high school, accepted students receive four years of rigorous training in Classical Guitar. The goal of the program is to produce well rounded guitarists and musicians who are capable of the most demanding pursuits.

It is through the support of individuals and businesses that the Guitar Program at Weaver Academy is able to provide students with a multitude of performance opportunities, exposure to professional artists, and access to premier educational opportunities.
